I can remember when I was a child, on Sunday’s after church we would all gather at my Grandmother’s house for Sunday dinner. Afterwards, friends would stop by and as the adults would sit on the porch we kids would run around the yard playing football or catch lighting bugs (fire flies). Nothing was better than that! We were family, we were friends, we were neighbors, and for that afternoon each week, we were simply living life together.
The Livingroom Church is just that. We are not a building, we are not an organization, but we are just people that are wanting to live life together. In what ever shape or shade that takes. We come together in our houses to eat dinner together, to worship together, to study the Word together, and pray for each other, and listen to each other, to share our fears, our worries, and our joys with each other. Are we perfect at this? No way. But we do try to be the church (a group of people that love God and love others) the best way that we can.
